Stephanie Lane Sutton was born in Detroit. Her prose has been published in The Offing, The Adroit Journal, and Black Warrior Review. Her poems have been anthologized in Reading Queer: Poetry in a Time of Chaos and The Golden Shovel: New Poems Honoring Gwendolyn Brooks. She is currently a fellow in the MFA program at the University of Miami, the Managing Editor of Sinking City, and a Co-Founding Editor of | tap | lit mag.
