Stephanie Lane Sutton was born in Detroit. Her prose has been published in The Offing, The Adroit Journal, Black Warrior Review. Her poems have been anthologized in Reading Queer: Poetry in a Time of Chaos and The Golden Shovel: New Poems Honoring Gwendolyn Brooks. She is currently a fellow in the MFA program at the University of Miami, the Managing Editor of Sinking City, and a Co-Founding Editor of |tap| lit mag. Previously, she lived in Chicago and she taught performance poetry at Phoenix Military Academy.
